It's a fair thing to ask, an established garden is easy to set back with a careless cut, and a lawn scalped in the wrong season can take a whole summer to come back.

At Golden Landscaping we walk the garden with you first and agree what stays and what goes. Hedges, natives and feature plants get pruned to the right depth for the species and the season, and we set mower height to suit the grass type rather than running the same blade height over every lawn.

Only where you're happy for us to, and never as the default. Most weeds come out by hand or with a whipper snipper. Where a spray genuinely is the right tool we'll tell you what it is beforehand, and we'll leave it out entirely if you've got pets, small children or a veggie patch nearby.

A mow is the lawn: cut, edge, whipper snip and blow down. A garden maintenance visit is the whole yard, weeding the beds, pruning back what's overgrown, topping up mulch and taking the green waste with us. Plenty of customers book the regular mow and add a maintenance visit a few times a year when things get away from them.

No. Every person who shows up to work on your garden works directly for Golden Landscaping. PLACEHOLDER_OWNER runs the crew personally, you're not getting a third party who was handed your job through an app. That's how we keep the quality consistent and stay accountable for every result.

It depends on the size of the block, how much growth there is and what's involved, so we quote each job individually, and the quote is free and fixed. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need to give you a price on the spot.

Often, yes. We always respond to enquiries the same day, and if you're happy with the quote and the day's schedule has room, we can frequently do the job on the spot, just mention it when we call. If the schedule's full, we'll lock in the next day that suits you. Same-day completion is subject to availability.

No. As long as we can get into the yard, and reach an outside tap if the job needs one, you can leave us to it. We'll send you the before & after photos when we're done.

Yes, clippings, prunings and pulled weeds go with us and are disposed of properly, and that's included in the quoted price. If you'd rather keep the mulch or compostable material on site, just say so and we'll stack it wherever you want it.

A standard suburban lawn is usually under an hour; a full garden tidy-up is often half a day. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote so you can plan around it.
