Shrubs planted too close to the house, self-seeded saplings, dead plants and small trees in the wrong spot are the removals we handle, the ones that can be taken out safely from the ground.
We remove the plant, grub out the root ball where practical, backfill the hole and take everything away with us.
Large trees, anything requiring climbing, and work near powerlines are jobs for a qualified arborist. We'll tell you that up front rather than attempt it.

How big a tree can you remove?
Small trees and large shrubs we can work on safely from the ground. Anything requiring climbing, large limb drops, or work near powerlines is arborist work and we'll refer it on rather than take it on.
Do I need council approval to remove a tree?
Often, yes. Most councils protect trees over a certain size or species, and penalties are serious. Check with your council first, we won't remove a protected tree.
How often should I have this done?
It depends on the job and the season, lawns and hedges want a regular rhythm through the warmer months, while bigger garden work is usually a once or twice a year thing. We will suggest an interval that suits your yard, and on a Golden Circle Membership plan we track the timing so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can get to the yard and to an outdoor tap if the job needs water, plenty of our residential work is done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
