Fencing
New fences and repairs, with posts set to stay put.

How does fencing work?
Fences fail at the posts. A fence with sound, properly set posts can be re-clad cheaply; a fence with rotted posts will keep leaning no matter how many palings you replace.
We install and repair timber paling fences, screening, gates and garden fencing, setting posts to depth in concrete and lining the run properly rather than following an old crooked fence.
Boundary fences involve your neighbours and state fencing rules, we'll build it, but that conversation is yours to have.

FAQ
Fencing, your questions answered
Who pays for a boundary fence?
In most of Australia a shared boundary fence is a shared cost between neighbours, with rules set by state legislation. It's worth talking to your neighbour before booking work, we can't sort that part for you.
Can you repair a fence instead of replacing it?
If the posts are still solid, replacing palings or a panel is usually the cheaper fix. Once posts have rotted at ground level, a replacement section is generally better value than repeated patching.
How often should I have this done?
It depends on the job and the season, lawns and hedges want a regular rhythm through the warmer months, while bigger garden work is usually a once or twice a year thing. We will suggest an interval that suits your yard, and on a Golden Circle Membership plan we track the timing so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can get to the yard and to an outdoor tap if the job needs water, plenty of our residential work is done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, Golden Landscaping is fully insured, and we're owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the person responsible for the result.
Is the quote really free and fixed?
Yes. Quotes are free and fixed, you'll know the price before we start, with no hourly meter and no surprises on the invoice. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Clippings, prunings and garden debris can be mulched back where that suits, left in your green bin, or taken away with us, just tell us which you would prefer when you book.
