Lawn Edging
Crisp, straight borders along every path, drive and garden bed.

How does lawn edging work?
Edging is the difference between a lawn that's been cut and a lawn that looks finished. Grass creeps over concrete and into garden beds surprisingly fast, and once the border is lost the whole yard reads as untidy no matter how neat the cut is.
We re-cut the line along paths, driveways, kerbs and bed edges, pull back runners that have grown across, and blow the trimmings clear so nothing washes into the drain.
If the borders have been left for a while the first visit takes longer, after that it's a quick tidy each time.

FAQ
Lawn Edging, your questions answered
Is edging included with a mow?
Yes, a full mowing visit includes edging along paths, driveways and garden beds. We also do edging on its own if the lawn itself is fine but the borders have crept out.
Will edging damage my garden beds?
No. We cut a clean, shallow line along the border and remove the runners by hand where they've grown into the bed, so plantings are left alone.
How often should I have this done?
It depends on the job and the season, lawns and hedges want a regular rhythm through the warmer months, while bigger garden work is usually a once or twice a year thing. We will suggest an interval that suits your yard, and on a Golden Circle Membership plan we track the timing so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can get to the yard and to an outdoor tap if the job needs water, plenty of our residential work is done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, Golden Landscaping is fully insured, and we're owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the person responsible for the result.
Is the quote really free and fixed?
Yes. Quotes are free and fixed, you'll know the price before we start, with no hourly meter and no surprises on the invoice. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Clippings, prunings and garden debris can be mulched back where that suits, left in your green bin, or taken away with us, just tell us which you would prefer when you book.
