How does weeding work?
Weeding is the job everyone puts off, and the one that makes the biggest visual difference in a single visit. We clear garden beds, paths, driveway joints, gravel areas and fence lines, pulling at the root where we can rather than snapping tops off.
Once an area is clear, mulch is what keeps it that way, a bed with bare soil is a bed that will be weedy again within weeks.

Will the weeds just come back?
Some will, weed seed sits in the soil for years. Pulling weeds out at the root, then mulching properly, is what keeps regrowth slow. Regular short visits beat one big clear-out.
Do you spray or hand-weed?
Both, depending on the situation. Garden beds and around plantings are mostly hand-weeded; large paved or gravel areas are usually better treated. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't spray at all.
How often should I have this done?
It depends on the job and the season, lawns and hedges want a regular rhythm through the warmer months, while bigger garden work is usually a once or twice a year thing. We will suggest an interval that suits your yard, and on a Golden Circle Membership plan we track the timing so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can get to the yard and to an outdoor tap if the job needs water, plenty of our residential work is done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, Golden Landscaping is fully insured, and we're owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the person responsible for the result.
Is the quote really free and fixed?
Yes. Quotes are free and fixed, you'll know the price before we start, with no hourly meter and no surprises on the invoice. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Clippings, prunings and garden debris can be mulched back where that suits, left in your green bin, or taken away with us, just tell us which you would prefer when you book.
