Irrigation Systems
Water where it's needed, on a timer, instead of by hand.

How does irrigation systems work?
Hand watering is the first thing to go when life gets busy, and gardens show it. An irrigation system puts the water where the roots are, on a schedule, whether you're home or away.
We install and repair pop-up sprinklers for lawns, drip line for garden beds and pots, and timers or controllers to run it. Beds and lawn are zoned separately because they want very different amounts of water.
We also fix existing systems, broken heads, leaks, blocked drippers and controllers nobody knows how to use.

FAQ
Irrigation Systems, your questions answered
Will an irrigation system use more water?
Usually less. A timed system delivers water where and when it's needed instead of a sprinkler left running, and drip lines in beds put water at the roots rather than into the air.
Do water restrictions affect it?
They can, and rules vary by area and over time. We'll set the system up so it's easy to adjust, and it's worth checking your current local restrictions before scheduling.
How often should I have this done?
It depends on the job and the season, lawns and hedges want a regular rhythm through the warmer months, while bigger garden work is usually a once or twice a year thing. We will suggest an interval that suits your yard, and on a Golden Circle Membership plan we track the timing so it never gets forgotten.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. As long as we can get to the yard and to an outdoor tap if the job needs water, plenty of our residential work is done while you're out, we confirm everything beforehand and send photos when it's finished.
Are you fully insured?
Yes, Golden Landscaping is fully insured, and we're owner-operated, so the person who quotes your job is the person responsible for the result.
Is the quote really free and fixed?
Yes. Quotes are free and fixed, you'll know the price before we start, with no hourly meter and no surprises on the invoice. A quick call with a couple of photos is usually all we need.
Do you take the green waste away?
Yes. Clippings, prunings and garden debris can be mulched back where that suits, left in your green bin, or taken away with us, just tell us which you would prefer when you book.
